01 · Naming
One word, capital R.
The brand is Regulus. The company behind it is Midatel Tecnología, S.L.U.; its trade name, MIDATEL TECHNOLOGY®, only appears as an endorsement: “Regulus by MIDATEL TECHNOLOGY®”. goregulus.com is our address and handle, not our name.

Write “Cyber Resilience Act” in full the first time, then “CRA”. The legal reference is Regulation (EU) 2024/2847.

02 · Logo
Three stars and a name.
Regulus is the brightest star in Leo, and a little king. The three stars are a constellation: the regulation, the product and the evidence that ties them. Pick the file for the background it sits on, not for your screen.
Clear space
Keep empty space around the logo equal to the height of one star (x). Nothing else goes inside the dashed line.

Mostly ink and canvas. A little lime.

04 · Typography
Three typefaces, three jobs.
All three are free under the SIL Open Font License. Type in the boxes to try them.
Know your class before you write a line.
Everything: interface, body text, buttons and the wordmark (600). Common ligatures off, so “Article 7(1)” never turns into “7①”.
Start with your own product.
Only for large headlines: page titles and the closing call. Never for body text or below 32 px.

Terminal and progress
Always dark, even in light mode. Segments light up one by one; the first empty one blinks like a cursor.
Buttons
Pills. Lime for one action only, the sign-up. Ink for primary, grey for the rest. No borders, no gradients.
Figures
Generated in code: few words, Rethink in large sizes, lime or sky on a few. No logo, no people, no stock photos.
06 · Voice and tone
We know the regulation. We don't lecture.
Engineers read us between two other jobs. Every sentence has to earn its place.

Short
People are busy. One idea per paragraph, and stop when it is said.
The CRA applies to most products with software or a network port. Here is what it asks of yours.

Say what we don't do
Saying no builds trust faster than any claim. We write and review; we never certify.
We write and review the classification and the technical file. We do not certify anything and we never will.

Know more, lecture less
Show we understand the product. Keep articles and annexes for when people ask.
Your gateway gets updates over the air, and that is the first thing the CRA looks at.

Never invent
No made-up figures, customers or functions. If we cannot source it, we do not say it.
From 11 December 2027, every product placed on the EU market has to meet the 22 essential requirements.
